It's a sport dating back to ancient China. The modern day Dragon Boating is fun, exciting and competitive. Pendragons is a competitive Dragon Boat Club dedicated to the development of Dragon boat racing in Sydney's Greater West. Pendragons were founded in 2002 and has enjoyed over 15 years of competition at all levels in the Dragon Boat New South Wales and other Regional Regattas. Our paddlers come from many and varied backgrounds and ages. A friendly and supportive club that puts as much emphasis on camaraderie, being the best you can be, as being competitive when in the boat! We boast both NSW state and Australian representatives that have competed in National and International Competitions.

Membership is open to Males and Females over the age of 12 years.
We offer 5 free sessions to see if you like it. (See the Try it Out page)
Our season runs from July 1 to June 30
Membership to Pendragons DBC includes membership of Dragon Boats NSW, instruction by qualified coaches at training sessions, access to our email group and Team App (for session times) and great camaraderie.

Pendragons Abreast
Pendragons Abreast, established in 2004, is a group of breast cancer survivors who are also members of Pendragons Dragon Boat club. Pendragons Abreast supports the wellbeing of breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating. They encourage fitness, wellness and fun, empowering individuals of all fitness levels to go from surviving to thriving after a breast cancer diagnosis.
